The "comfort women" system was a system in which Japanese militarism forced women from various countries to serve as sexual tools for Japanese soldiers during its invasion of China and Asian countries, and systematically equipped the Japanese army with military sex slaves. Shanghai was once the city with the longest and most concentrated existence of Japanese military comfort stations.
