This book comprehensively presents the main clues of Kosovo's historical changes from ancient times to the present, and discusses relevant major issues in eight chapters based on the stage characteristics of the region's historical development. The book starts with the ancient multi-ethnic integration and multi-cultural collision in Kosovo, and follows the chronological clues to show one by one that the internal contradictions in the region were intensified by the rule of the Ottoman Turkish Empire; in particular, the competition between European and American powers for the Balkan Peninsula led to the intertwining of various contradictions in Kosovo, and the Balkan War. During the two world wars, conflicts in Kosovo further accumulated; the Kosovo policy implemented by the Yugoslav government during the Tito era gradually intensified local ethnic conflicts, paving the way for the ethnic war conflicts in Kosovo in the post-Tito era; and finally analyzed the turbulent situation in Kosovo.
