About This Novel
Research on the history of ideas in the global academic community has generally declined, but only in mainland China, the history of ideas has always attracted great attention, because the connection between ideas and society, history and the present is too deep. In the review of ancient ideas, modern values have gained historical legitimacy. In recent years, the changes in the field of Chinese historical research of "going beyond doubting the past", "returning to the lower class", and "discovering foreigners" have given opportunities for change in the study of China's intellectual history. The Institute of Literature and History of Fudan University can jointly organize a seminar on "New Horizons in the Study of Chinese Intellectual and Cultural History" with the Chinese Department of the National University of Singapore to try to explore the possibility of rewriting the history of ideas.
