About This Novel
"I really want to go to the Bertram's Hotel - in London." In order to relive her childhood memories, Miss Marple came to the Bertram's Hotel in London. The moment she entered the door, it was like returning to Edwardian England: a warm fireplace, an elegant waiter, and a perfect afternoon tea. In such a hotel, an absent-minded priest, a mother and daughter she has never met, a racing driver who is incompatible with the surrounding environment, and Miss Marple gather together. And with the disappearance of the priest, Bertram's perfect appearance gradually peeled off, revealing his original mottled face...

For the first time, I really like a character other than Miss Marple, the wise Chief Inspector David! I believe the real culprit escaped justice in the end. If you regret the ending, you can watch the Miss Marple TV series, which is an adaptation, but has a happy ending!
complex
A bunch of smoke bombs, similar-looking twins, and details such as left-handed and right-handed, and several other things mixed together make the murder case seem complicated.
