About This Novel
This book is one of the trilogy by the famous French science fiction novelist Jules Verne, the other two being "Captain Grant's Children" and "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea". The book tells the story of five northerners who were trapped in the southern army during the American Civil War. They were waiting for an opportunity to escape by balloon. They encountered a storm on the way and were thrown to an island in the South Pacific. Relying on their own wisdom and extraordinary perseverance, these castaways overcame various difficulties and not only survived tenaciously, but also built the island into a prosperous paradise. The plot of the whole novel is ups and downs, full of descriptions of the strange and colorful nature, and it integrates various knowledge into the thrilling story. Therefore, even though it has been published for more than a hundred years, it is still highly praised and loved by readers all over the world.

Travel alone or together
I believe that everyone has the desire to go out and explore. It's just that for some people it's a momentary impulse, while for others it's a lifelong dream. When going on an adventure, some people embark on the journey alone. They make decisions alone without any scruples, but they have to endure loneliness and bear all the consequences alone. Some people travel together with others and work together to the best of their abilities, but there is a high possibility of conflicts with their companions and things that are not what they want. Both types of adventure have their pros and cons. The expedition method of Sellers and his party was the latter. Among them are knowledgeable engineers, strong sailors, shrewd and capable reporters, ingenious servants, and clever young people. On the desert island, they each exerted their own strengths and worked together to transform themselves from nothing to abundant supplies, making their lives more enjoyable. Seeing what they went through made me think I would want to be with someone else on my adventures. In this way, I can play to my strengths, and my companions can complement my weaknesses, making every decision we make more perfect and our adventure more exciting! At the end of the adventure, I can learn more and become better; I can gain more friends and make my life better in the future. So, what about you?
