About This Novel
This is Alai's story of recalling his father's generation. They happened after the dust of the great era had settled, and they happened in the memory of young Alai. They were separated, but they struggled to adapt; they were abandoned, but they were full of hope. Times are always changing, and the dust has not yet settled. This is Alai's boyhood poem, his path to growth, and his spiritual autobiography.
