About This Novel

"World History Review" is a new front and platform for China's world history research. It is published twice a year and comprehensively displays the new dynamics, new developments, and new results of domestic world history research. Mr. Liu Jiahe specially inscribed it and published the important research results of many scholars such as Liu Jinyu, Huang Yang, and Zhang Wei. It also includes interviews and lectures by ancient Greek and Roman cultural masters Wang Huansheng and Zhang Zhuming. "Classics in China" is the fifth volume of the "World History Review" series, with the theme of "Classics in China". It is divided into five columns: "Monographs", "Comments", "Book Reviews", "Interviews" and "Documents and Historical Materials". It mainly studies the spread of Greek and Roman knowledge in China. This volume contains 19 excellent articles by Wang Huansheng, Zhang Zhuming, Liu Jinyu, Huang Yang, Zhang Wei, and other famous writers. Huang Yang demonstrated that Athenian democracy was in fact not just the rule of lower-class citizens, but the elite also played a key role. Liu Jinyu and others sorted out ancient Baigang studied the process of collation, translation, annotation and research of Roman poet Ovid's works in Europe and the United States, as well as the translation and research situation in the Chinese world. Baigang studied the Homeric epic and its "depth" from the perspective of oral poetry theory. The perspective is rich and diverse, and has important academic value.
