About This Novel

65 million years ago, an asteroid hit the Earth, causing life to diverge. Some prehistoric creatures escaped into the hollow zone deep in the earth's crust, and under high pressure and darkness evolved an underground civilization that controlled the earth's nuclear energy; another part survived on the surface, and through radiation and rebirth created a human alliance across the stars. Twin civilizations, equal in technology, but separated by thousands of meters of rock formations, are imaginary enemies of each other, and have started a century-old silent war - competition for minerals, secret fights for intelligence, never using thermal weapons, and only maintaining a fragile tacit understanding of "not destroying the other party." Until the drilling well in the Mariana Trench pierced the outer barrier of the underground territory, the magma broke out of the underground fortress, and the cold warning sounded throughout the world, and the century-old tacit understanding suddenly collapsed. While the war between the two races is raging, the silicon-based predators from Alpha Centauri have quietly arrived in the solar system. Earth's nuclear energy and liquid water are their goals; not a single blade of grass can grow and civilization is extinct, this is their iron law. When the crisis of genocide comes, will the laser fleet on the surface and the magnetic storm cannon underground point at each other, or side by side?
