Investment Protection Law of the People's Republic of China for Taiwan Compatriots

This law was enacted to protect and encourage investment by Taiwanese compatriots and promote economic development on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. It was adopted at the sixth meeting of the Standing Committee of the Eighth National People's Congress on March 5, 1994 and will come into effect on the date of promulgation. Amended in accordance with the "Decision on Amending the Foreign-Invested Enterprise Law" and other four laws at the 22nd meeting of the Standing Committee of the 12th National People's Congress on September 3, 2016.
