About This Novel

"Selected Collection of Cultural and Historical Materials" was initiated in 1959 by Comrade Zhou Enlai's personal initiative and initiated by the Cultural and Historical Materials Research Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. It is an album of historical materials that vividly records the magnificent historical process of Chinese society since the Reform Movement of 1898, featuring "personal experience, personal sighting and personal hearing" of the parties involved.
