In addition to the initial collection of Yong Hong's documents collected by Yale University, Rong Hong's 1902 diary, and selections of Yong Hong's handwriting, 8 newly discovered letters from Yale University, Yong Hong's letters from Stanford University, diplomatic documents, and American newspaper reports on Rong Hong and his children's stay in the United States are added. At this point, the compiler has basically collected the possible extant Rong Hong documents. The publication of this book will provide valuable original information for the academic community to study Rong Hong. The book is divided into six parts: Rong Hong's documents collected by Yale University, Rong Hong's documents collected by Stanford University, Rong Hong's official documents and private letters in the U. S. Diplomatic archives, Rong Hong's 1902 diary, newspapers and periodicals about Rong Hong and other documents, translation tables, and some original documents related to Rong Hong.
