The Long Road to Chang'an is Far Away
About This Novel
A hundred years after the Tang Dynasty, various countries rose up, led by Dayan State, a branch of the Tang Dynasty, and Dashi State, a subsidiary state of the Tang Dynasty. The kings of the past dynasties all longed for the prosperous age of Chang'an, and they also wanted to strengthen themselves and copy the glory of the Tang Dynasty. Princess Hehua of the Dashi Kingdom, while tracing the traces of her biological mother, was being held hostage by the Queen Mother, and she supported her young brother to stabilize the court and work hard to govern. Ji Botong, the general of Zhen'an in the Yan Kingdom, saw that the emperor of his country was fatuous, so he secretly united with the king of Jin who had the world in mind. While mediating in the court party disputes, he was committed to stabilizing the border areas. When they were young, the two never revealed their identities and loved each other. Once they were separated, they met again one day, but they had long since ceased to care about each other.
