"Research on the Collection of Song Poems in the Past Dynasties" is the result of a later-stage project funded by the National Social Science Fund. The book is divided into three parts: upper, middle and lower. It comprehensively and systematically cleans up and studies the collection of Song poetry. The first part analyzes and summarizes the theoretical form, value, significance and compilation context of the Song Poetry Collection through the narration and examination of a large number of Song Poetry Collection; the middle part describes the historical process of the development and evolution of the Song Poetry Collection in five stages from formation, transition, prosperity, transformation to integration, and analyzes the main achievements and characteristics of the Song Poetry Collection in each period, as well as the politics, culture, education, imperial examinations, and poetics that led to the formation of the Song Poetry Collection. And other ecological backgrounds; by examining key collections of Song poetry, we explore the close relationship between the compilation of Song poetry collections and the formation of poetry societies, poetic schools, and the development of poetic trends of thought; through a series of case studies, the second part analyzes the origin, compilation purpose, compilation process, basic content, adoption of styles, poetic propositions, document limitations, engraving situations, communication and acceptance, etc. Of important Song poetry collections through a series of case studies to compare the similarities, differences, and gains and losses between different collections.
