About This Novel

The painter Thomas has experienced ups and downs, having been married twice and having three sons born after marriage, all of whom were raised by his ex-wife. He loves his career and his children, and often goes fishing with his children. There is a deep affection between father and son. Unfortunately, two sons died in a car accident, and the only remaining son died in World War II.
