About This Novel
The reason why this book is called "Continuation of Night Stories" is because it is a sequel to "Ten Notes of Night Stories" published by People's Literature Publishing House in 1982. It still follows the original example and Sichuan people tell Sichuan stories in Sichuan dialect. In their spare time, a dozen or so Sichuan officials gathered together in a small house, drank tea, chatted, and set up a dragon gate array to while away the eternal night. They still use the unique dialect of Sichuan people, humorous conversation style, gossip about Sichuan slang and folk customs, and all kinds of strange anecdotes.
