About This Novel
"Southwestern Frontier Ethnic Studies" is an academic journal sponsored by the Southwest Frontier Ethnic Research Center of Yunnan University. This series has nine columns: ethnic history research, ethnic relations research, road studies, frontier studies, intangible culture research, religious anthropology research, public health and medical anthropology research, ecological and environmental anthropology, and academic evaluation. The content covers many fields such as anthropological research on ancient ethnic groups in the southwest, kinship relations among ethnic groups in the west, historical evolution around the Yunnan-Tibet-Nujiang River channel, governance of China's border counties, inheritance of "Huaer" intangible cultural heritage in the northwest, deepening and rituals of the Naxi people, and environmental protection in rural areas around Erhai Lake.
