The extra star is because the first chapter is really well written!
I've read about twenty chapters and it's a bunch of nonsense.

I recommend a spy novel, I'm currently following it, it's quite good. Different from most espionage novels, the story takes place in the Ice City on the Sino-Soviet border. The protagonist not only faces Japanese special forces, but also Suter. The plot is slow but very attractive and worth reading.
