About This Novel

Foreign girls Dujuan and Songxuexue came to Beijing to open up their own colorful world. They integrated their young hearts and infinite yearning into this bustling city. Expectations are always good, but reality is more cruel than cruel... The novel shows Dujuan, a spicy, capable and beautiful Sichuan girl, and Xue Xue, who came to Beijing to experience different twists and turns of fate. Du Juan went from bitter to sweet, and Xue Xue went from sweet to bitter. A girl who lived in a basement, was defrauded of all her money, and sold small commodities in an underground passage. She had no money or a place to live and worked hard to become the owner of a Western restaurant on Embassy Street; a full-time wife who only wanted to enjoy herself, and went from being married to a multi-million-dollar house to a down-and-out single woman with nothing. They have experienced the hardships of urban life, a kind of experience, and thousands of emotions... The story uses a natural and realistic style to coldly and delicately demonstrate the conflict between morality and sentiment, reality and persistence, and analyzes that a hard-working life is the real bridge to happiness. The novel calls on and inspires young people to make sincere efforts and work hard, so that youth can bloom the brightest flowers. The story has ups and downs, and the characters such as the dream-seeking young man Su Yu, the proprietress Sister Cui, the liar Xiaoyu, and the rural young man Jianbin are vivid and vivid. The novel shows the fierce, capable and beautiful Sichuan girls Dujuan and Xixue, who have experienced different twists and turns of fate and the hardships of urban life together. This is a kind of experience that makes people sigh with emotion.

I haven't finished reading it yet, but the two protagonists are completely my portrayal, but I like Dujuan best, her kind of self-struggle and sobriety.
