About This Novel
Through four chapters and 12 short and medium-sized stories, it shows and explores the living and mental states of small people from different angles - how they exist, how they think, the difficulties they encounter and their struggles, and their growth. (Example 1: Zhao Zhao was sold by her father from Southeast Asia to the southern coast of China because of a bride transaction. Nominally, Zhao Zhao was sold voluntarily. But she also had her own conspiracy - she wanted to use the buyer to cross the border and go to China to find her husband Ruan Wen who was forced to separate from her. In the article, Zhaozhao combines romanticism and idealism. Through his four escapes in the southern coastal mountain villages, he shows the character's yearning for freedom and the pursuit of the lost self.
