This book tells the life of Lu Xun. After losing his father when he was young, he joined Sun Quan's camp at the age of 21. He later served for Sun Quan, won many wars, and formed a deep comradeship with Lu Meng and Zhuge Jin. After the Battle of Chibi, regarding the occupation of Jingzhou, there was no fault, and the expedition was bound to fail. In the end, a series of plots were devised, forcing Guan Yu to defeat Maicheng. After the death of Lu Su, Lu Xun was reused and appreciated by Sun Quan. He became the prime minister and gradually moved into the center of power in Soochow. Sun He and Sun Ba were involved in the dispute between Sun Quan and his son during the "Second Palace Controversy", and finally died in depression. Throughout his life, he did not realize all his ambitions.
