About This Novel
This is the meal Agatha Christie prepared just for Christmas. Appetizers: "Dreamland" and "The Wrath of the Weak". A mysterious rich man has been dreaming of committing suicide repeatedly in recent days. He sought help from many sources but ultimately failed to escape the clutches of death. In a murder case that seemed to be closed, the wife of the deceased insisted that the real culprit was someone else. Main course: "The Corpse in the Snow" and "The Mystery of the Spanish Box". Poirot was invited by the big shot to recover the prince's stolen gems, but he was killed in the snow at the home where he was a guest. Several upper-class men and women often gathered together. After this carnival, one of them died in a box in the living room. And after-dinner ice cream: "Twenty-Four Black Thrushes." The elderly Henry went to the same restaurant for dinner every Tuesday and Thursday. He also went there on the day he fell down the stairs of his house, but ordered completely different food. Poirot believed that the secret of death was hidden in the blackberry pie. Have a good appetite.
