About This Novel
Dad has a cough that has lasted for two weeks. When I got up in the morning, I heard my mother say to my sister, "Your dad is always coughing, and he won't go even if I ask him to go see him. You can buy him a bottle of cough syrup after get off work." My sister must have been putting on makeup in front of the mirror, and her voice was intermittent with the speed of her makeup movements. We no longer listen carefully to our mother since we were teenagers. What she says or not has little impact on us. "Just drinking syrup won't help, you have to get injections." This was my sister's impatient voice. "No fever, dry cough. I think it's mainly dryness of the lungs. Just drink some syrup." This was the mother's insistence without any idea. "You all take your own medicine like you, so why do you need a hospital?" My sister must have dressed herself up beautifully today, otherwise she wouldn't know who she is, and she wouldn't sound big or small. I opened the door.
