This tear-jerking novel tells the story of an irresponsible man who abuses his wife, who remains faithful to him. The wife is a traditional Chinese woman who refuses to abandon her family even if her husband betrays her. She goes to work every day and takes care of her husband and raises her children; her husband is a gentleman, and she never complains. She believes that women should take care of everything at home and not let their husbands worry. After the two went through many separations and reunions, at the end of the story, the husband finally turned back and life will continue. The story reminds everyone that when choosing a marriage partner, you must first look at character and virtue, and don't be tempted by material things and status. The quality of the other person's character determines the happiness of your life.
