Before I was hurt, I was still a complete person. After being hurt by the surrounding environment and people, I just wanted to escape from humanity. I had no choice but to accept my fate. I didn't know how cold and cruel those people were when they peeled off my old scars layer by layer and then left new cuts on them.

A pretty good book
To be honest, there is a big gap between Rousseau's books and thoughts and some of his actual actions. Who is the real Rousseau?
I feel like a depressed patient But repeating some painful things over and over again seems cumbersome and disorganized
The male version of the resentful woman, the pretentious Rousseau!
If your purpose is to understand Rousseau, this is a good book. If you just want to learn something, the large paragraphs of his defense here are too diluted, and you will get more of what you want elsewhere.
Condensed version of Murphy's Law + Walden Pond
Zhongshang has the original French version. After comparing the two, I feel that this translation is careless. 😊
