In 2060, three historians from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom decided to travel back in time to World War II to experience history through personal experience. Michael prepares to go to Port Dover to investigate the Dunkirk evacuation. Merope transforms into a maid in a manor to take care of the children who were evacuated from the city to the countryside to avoid the German bombing. Polly comes to a department store in London to become a saleswoman, experiencing the worries and strength of ordinary people under the haze of the London bombing every day. As the research progressed, the three historians soon noticed anomalies. First, the things happening around them began to appear slightly different from historical records, and then the portal back to 2060 could not be opened for unknown reasons. Trapped in World War II-era Britain, the trio became prisoners of time, struggling to find a chance to survive amid the flames of war. What's even more frightening is that perhaps due to their inadvertent actions, history itself is losing control and the outcome of the war will be rewritten...
