About This Novel

A series of self-analytic and self-reflective essays written by Fitzgerald. In 1936, it was divided into three articles and published in the February, March and April issues of Esquire. The opening line reads: Of course all life is a process of breaking down. Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald (September 24, 1896 - December 21, 1940), American novelist and "Poet Laureate" of the Jazz Age, is known as one of the greatest writers of the 20th century, represented by "The Great Gatsby". He has written four novels and more than 160 short stories. His works mainly explore themes such as youth, despair and the times.
