About This Novel

One of the legendary building blocks of modern Britain are the old inns, which permeate British history. Whether it is a traditional or modern old inn, you only need to experience a little bit to experience the British style of the Victorian period. This book describes some of the historic London inns and country inns. Unlike the magnificent high-rise buildings, those inns are either nameless or unknown, but they are all full of the unique charm of retro British style.

The glory of the world has vanished into thin air

When I read this book, I had an idea in my mind, that is, how do modern people feel about architecture? Most of the books describe foreign places, their historical sites, or their remaining customs and habits. But slowly, what I will think of is that the Great Wall and the Forbidden City are not just my own praise, but I feel that these are treasures left over from history. They have experienced wind, frost, rain, snow, and still retain their original appearance. So, what do you think of modern people's view of architecture?
