In comparison, Liaozhai is a truly excellent science fiction novel.

After watching it, it felt like chatting after dinner, just like a group of people chatting boringly about their feelings about watching Liaozhai while eating. One of them simply said "This plot is scientific" without any further explanation. The description lacks details and the setting is not novel. It feels a little like Liaozhai but not as rich and memorable as Liaozhai. The difference is that there are a few more modern expressions about "time and space". It may be better to apply for science fiction in this genre. After all, this is something Liaozhai, which was born many years ago, cannot do. In contrast, "Liao Zhai" is an excellent work worth watching again and again. Although the science fiction written by Pu Songling seems to have nothing to do with it, it actually only lacks some interpretation. And if the science fiction elements of science fiction novels can be downplayed like The Painter of Space and Time, then why can't Liaozhai be regarded as a great science fiction novel? It's just that the author leaves the right of interpretation to the readers.

I can't see what's good about it. It's not as good as some five-star authors. Liu Cixin has been consumed again.

Plain plot, reverie that transcends time and space

It really requires extensive and detailed investigation and thinking to complete such a science fiction work with Chinese cultural temperament.

That's it. I can't understand why it won the award. I feel it's not as good as "Beijing Fold". I thought a winning work without any political factors would be better, but the Hugo Award is becoming more and more confusing. The plot is simple, which is not a big problem, and the writing style is not a big deal, but the whole novel does not convey meaningful emotions and cannot arouse readers' resonance. There is no interesting plot, and it is over after reading it. There is nothing that can make people remember the place where they live and the place they are nostalgic for. A conversation that spanned time and space ended simply like this. It ended tastelessly and without any disturbance.

Time and Space Painter

It's a bit suspenseful at first, but the plot behind it doesn't have much meaning and you can see it all at a glance. Originally the story was okay, but unfortunately the Hugo Awards raised expectations

No wonder science fiction is in decline

What is this written about? To compose a new word, I would like to express my sorrow at the beginning. The palace is like a silent giant, standing between heaven and earth. This meaningless beginning brings down the entire document. I wrote this beginning just for the sake of having such a beginning, and the transitions in each chapter are extremely abrupt, and there is no suspense that can make people want to stay. Even online science fiction is better than what this author writes. Is this the Writers Guild?
