Time Machine
by (english) Herbert George Wells
About This Novel
"The Time Machine" is a science fiction novel published by the famous British novelist Herbert George Wells in 1895. This book is also Wells' first science fiction novel. Some critics identified the publication of this book as "the first year of the birth of science fiction." The work describes a scientist who travels to AD 802,701 through a time travel machine. At this time, the earth was full of palace-like buildings. Humanity evolved into two categories: the Eloi and the Morlocks. The author will describe the elegant nobles as animals raised by Moloch and also used as food, showing a gloomy scene of human degradation.

So-so. . .
If it weren't for the fact that we had to read the English version of this book in class, I would never have read this book in my life. I have to say that the author was very imaginative to be able to write such a book at the end of the 19th century, but now it is 2025. Not only is this book slightly old-fashioned, but all science has been falsified. Moreover, this novel failed to propose a truly awesome theory such as the Law of the Dark Forest. This book is the pioneer of science fiction, but it is by no means the pinnacle. Today, it is nothing.
