About This Novel

"Seven Cat's Eyes" is the masterpiece of Korean writer Choi Jae-hoon. It is composed of four independent novels. The stories are intertwined with each other with superb skills and are full of tension, that is, A leads to B, B leads to C, C leads to D, and D in turn leads to A. The four novellas are mystery novels full of suspense, with themes involving personal safety in the age of online media and social media, and the multiple personality masks of modern people. In 2011, "Seven Cat's Eyes" won the "Korea Culture and Arts Council Outstanding Literary Book Award" and the 44th "Korea Daily Literature Award" in the same year. Cui Zaixun himself once said: "I don't care much about the definition and function of novels. I just maximize the possibilities of novels. When I created this work ("Seven Cat's Eyes"), I did not have any worries and wrote it in a state of sinking to the bottom. During the creation process, I was also like being trapped in a maze, wandering left and right."
