The Mystery of Angel Alley
by J
About This Novel
John Smiley left his hometown in Australia and came to London. On the night of his arrival, he witnessed a murder in an alley in a house across the street: a man strangled a woman with a black scarf, and then the lights went out. However, when Smiley called the police to catch the criminal together, they found that all the doors and windows in the house were locked. After breaking in, they found that there was no one in the house. What's even more bizarre is that the scene he witnessed was exactly the same as an unsolved case that happened in the same place 17 years ago...

What I least expected to happen has happened, and it seems that I really "don't want to understand"... I have finished reading Paul Holt's fourth novel. Those who like Agatha Christie's works will also like this mystery novelist. The number of words in his novels is not amazing, but the ingenious ideas are enough to attract people.
