Drood Mystery
About This Novel
Monastery City, an ancient city. It is monotonous and boring, with a desolate entrance hall. You can smell the earth in the church catacombs everywhere, and there are traces of graves left by priests and nuns throughout the ages... Edwin Drood, our hero; Mimi, Drood's beautiful and lovely fiancée; Jasper, the uncle who is only a few years older than Edwin and Drood; Neville, Mimi's admirer. Several young people gathered around Mimi, setting off a whirlpool of love in the dark and gloomy monastery city. In the end, Drood's life and death were unknown, and Neville became the only suspect. Priest Grispark believed in Neville and, together with Mimi's guardian, led everyone to launch a series of secret investigations. However... The sudden death of the author Dickens made the truth of the case an eternal mystery. Who can solve this unanswered mystery?

In the first chapter, the overall style echoes the introduction very well - gloomy! It made me a little scared, especially in the silent night. Such a description is really scary! Those weird laughs and weird people are really more suitable to watch during the day!
Unsolved cases are always very exciting. People who have read this book have not found the author's answer, but they probably have their own answers in their hearts. I didn't guess who the murderer was. I guess only the dead author knows the answer.
The antiquity, monotony and boringness of the monastery city, as well as the graves of the monks and nuns, add a sad atmosphere to this place. Mimi's love whirlpool is probably the key to breaking this atmosphere. It's like a stone being thrown into the calm water, attracting attention from all parties.
no ending
Stiff, so annoying, it's pretty good, but there's no ending
