About This Novel
My name is Tian Tian Mika. Since the pronunciations of Mika and Mikan are very similar, people often call me Mikan. My father worked as an accountant in a canning factory in the town. Every day at dinner time, I would listen to my mother, who worked as a director at a TV station, discuss the news. This had become a family routine. Today is no exception. "Now I feel that I was right not to stay in Tokyo and to go back to my hometown." My mother took a sip of the trout soup and said with lingering fear, "Young people in big cities these days really don't know what they are thinking." "What's wrong?" My father poured some beer into the glass, and his mind seemed not to be on the content of the conversation at all. "Recently, there is a popular organization in Tokyo," my mother said mysteriously. "Some extreme young people gather together to engage in shady things."
