About This Novel
In an unnoticed old house in a corner of Tokyo, there lives a family living a secret life. They live on their "grandma's" pension, work occasionally, and are used to wandering from store to store and stealing daily necessities. One winter night, "Dad" Azhi found a little girl who had been kicked out of the house, and "stolen" her back to become a new family member. Everyone spent a short and happy time together, but an accident caused a shocking truth to surface. They also discovered that the family members who get along day and night have unspeakable past events and complicated connections hidden behind each other...

They have nothing but love
They just pick up things that others don't want. Does this count as stealing?
There is no benefit, only rescue and being rescued
I don't want Aki and Shouta to live with misunderstandings in their future lives.
Life is not easy for everyone.
After watching the movie, let's read the novel.
Good reviews
Good reviews, good reviews, good reviews, say important things three times
After watching the movie, I felt that I still had more to learn, so I read the book again. Sure enough, I saw some things that could not be expressed in the movie, and I understood it more deeply.
Check it out in the comments!
Finished reading
It's quite realistic, no matter how warm and touching it is, it is always an unfair path. Several children retained this beautiful fantasy, lived hard, and grew up soberly.
I am deeply impressed by Shota. I haven't finished watching the movie yet. I will find time to watch it carefully.
Was moved.
