About This Novel
In the midsummer of 2013, Jingxi Hotel was surrounded by green trees and blooming flowers. On the afternoon of June 15th, the first conference room on the third floor. That year, the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was held here. On the right side of the conference room, a screen hangs; on the left side, a flower basket hangs; in the middle, a banner hangs, which reads: The Fourth Award Ceremony for Outstanding Works of Chinese Biographical Literature (2007.7-2012.6). The atmosphere is both frugal and solemn. This five-year award is the highest award for biographical literary creation in China. In the garden of Chinese literature, biographical literature is flourishing, with more than 5,000 works published every year. This means that there are as many as 25,000 works participating in the fourth session. It is not easy to stand out from the crowd of works.
