Harmful, living by the river is really difficult. Even though you have done nothing wrong, you are just living a normal life. In order to survive, you have to take great risks. Everything is full of difficulties.
This is really a bit weird. Although repairs are a good thing, why do you have to pay tribute every time? This custom seems really unfriendly, especially for women.
