About This Novel
In this novel, which was shortlisted for the National Book Award, author Martine Leavit tells the story of Calvin, a young man suffering from schizophrenia, who is convinced that the famous cartoonist Bill Watterson can cure him, as long as he creates another "Calvin & Hobbes" cartoon. The whole story is full of soul-touching philosophical thoughts. It mainly tells the journey of a young man named "Calvin". Because he is incompatible with real life and his mind is full of strange thoughts, this young man, who is different in the eyes of ordinary people, embarks on his own "pilgrimage" in his own way, begins the growth and evolution of his own soul, and finally reaches reconciliation with himself and the world on the road of pursuit.
