City Comfort

About This Novel
I never expected that on the second night of my journalistic career, I would attend a luxurious banquet. Such a feast far exceeded my previous dreams. So I learned: The biggest advantage of being a reporter is that you can eat and drink for free. Such hidden benefits were not promised in the job postings I read; nor were they explicitly stated in the journalism textbooks I read. I was born in a rural area, and I almost broke my intestines after earning a living before I was admitted to the teachers' college in the city of our state. When I was in the third grade, our teachers college was upgraded to undergraduate level. So I studied for an extra year, which forced me to take out an extra loan of 6,000 yuan, so that I could get a bachelor's degree. My father is really worthless. He is also a deputy mayor, but he still needs a loan to provide an education for his only son!
