About This Novel

"A Madman's Notes" is a work with rich meaning and certain ideological depth. What it shows us is the ups and downs of coal worker Shao Shixi and his son Shao Shixi's life experiences and experiences during a historical period from the eve of the liberation of New China, through the "anti-rightist" and the Cultural Revolution after the founding of New China, to the new era.
