About This Novel
The story takes place in Versilia, Tuscany, deep in the Tambura Valley, a place surrounded by the rich nature of the Alps. Stella and her sister Glenda, as well as two friends Rebecca and Frank who have just arrived from the United States, are involved in a series of supernatural and incredible events here. It all started with a hot air balloon trip, which the boys went through thanks to their persistence, despite their parents' concerns. But this unique experience soon turns into a tragedy: the hot air balloon encounters turbulence, and the four friends, plus a young Turkish balloonist, Alfred, crash into the woods with the balloon. When they regained consciousness, they found that everyone was miraculously unharmed, but Alfred was missing. Stella and her friends began to search for a way home, and in the process they discovered a mysterious underground world.
