About This Novel
In 1938, around the time of the Wuhan Battle, the Nationalist Government was planning to move west to Chongqing. A vital strategic material transportation channel and personnel transfer line needs to pass through the mountainous area of western Sichuan. The Japanese military's secret service (such as the "Bamboo Agency") has already penetrated into Sichuan, trying to destroy this lifeline and find weak points in China's rear.

The rhythm of this online novel is accurately controlled, the protagonist's growth line is clear, the exciting points of counterattack from the grassroots are dense and unobtrusive, and the description of the fighting scenes is very graphic. What's rare is that it doesn't fall into the "refreshing for the sake of having fun" routine. The stories of supporting characters and details of the world are interspersed to make the world more real. Although some of the plots are a bit cliche, the overall story is enjoyable to read and is a masterpiece worth reading in the near future.
