Why Did the Governor Rebel?
About This Novel
When he woke up, Roger found that he had traveled to a strange world. Dieselpunk-style steel giants, occult creations with supernatural powers, starships with space jump capabilities... And backward feudal civilization and class systems. This completely crooked technology tree and the living conditions of the people at the bottom are worse than those in the European Middle Ages... Everything that was slightly familiar made Roger's heart tremble. ... A few minutes later, a piece of good news and a piece of bad news were placed in front of him: The good news is that I have not traveled to that Warhammer world where people hate dogs; The bad news is that this world is not much better than the warhammer world where people hate dogs. Fortunately among the misfortunes, Roger time-traveled into the body of a new planetary governor. On this border planet where the sky is high and the emperor is far away, his status is no different from that aloof emperor. Just when Roger accepted the reality and was ready to let go and do something big-- "What do you mean my power has been taken away by the nobles?!" "How can we govern this planet with this group of people!"

An Chen's new works may not be very famous, but I am an old reader of his. His books have the depth of Rosen, the imagination and emotional tension of Mist and Rain. The only drawback is that it's a little depressing and not very likable. But the literary quality and skill are absolutely guaranteed. Wall Crack is recommended, if you understand it you can get into the trap

Grain ⭐⭐⭐ Warhammer-like worldview Planetary Governor, non-Warhammer (Actually, non-Warhammer is quite good. The Warhammer world is too hopeless. Even the planetary governor is a piece of cake. But it still feels very good to learn from some of the world settings of Warhammer.
