Leap over Cliff
About This Novel
Lin Fan is a typical post-80s generation who failed to enter the system and is engaged in planning work. He is married and has children. The pressure and pressure from his wife, children, banknotes, house, and car relaxed and tightened like a curse, tightly restraining him, but his inner pursuit of ideals never stopped. While on vacation at the seaside with his family, he discovered a cliff that no one cares about on the mountain behind a small seaside village. He was so imaginative that he wanted to build this cliff, which was as ordinary as himself, into a unique hotel. Carrying this almost crazy dream, Lin Fan withstood the confusion of his family and the sarcastic eyes of the people around him, and embarked on an almost Quixote-like path to realize his dream. From the time he was lucky enough to be on a TV recording program, to the time he came into contact with all kinds of people in society, could this cliff hotel that Lin Fan insisted on spending all his money be built? Through a large number of inner monologues, this work delicately depicts the life state of a standard post-80s generation who believes that their talents are not appreciated and their talents are not promoted. I believe it will resonate with peers of this era.
