Every story is plain but thought-provoking
Such a case happened around me: There was a villager in our village who was in the business of purchasing copper and aluminum. The family was very rich, knew many people, and had extensive social connections. The male owner is in business, and the female owner is a politics teacher in a middle school in the town. He has two daughters. The eldest daughter is studying in high school in other places and does not usually go home. She is only surrounded by her eight or nine-year-old daughter. One night at around eight o'clock, an acquaintance from a neighboring village invited the couple out at their home, leaving only the youngest daughter at home to look after the house. Later, when it was past ten o'clock, she saw that her parents hadn't come back and didn't answer their phone calls. The younger daughter became anxious because she had never been in this situation before. Her parents would leave their young daughter at home alone until late at night. The younger daughter couldn't get through to her parents, so she called her father's usual friend and told her about the incident. The friend knew something had happened and hurried to call the police. After a night of searching, they found the couple's bodies in a roadside ditch in a neighboring village in the early morning. The body of the acquaintance who asked them out was also found not far away. Three lives were lost overnight. Later, the police launched an investigation and found that all three people were murdered. After the three people were murdered on the night of the incident, the murderer wanted to come back to kill the younger daughter to silence her. However, the murderer failed to succeed after seeing his father's friend who rushed over. With the in-depth investigation of the case, the truth came to light, and the case was gradually shelved, so that in the end it became unsolved. It is said that the male owner made an ill-gotten fortune at that time: there was a pair of brothers from out of town who specialized in selling copper and aluminum that were not obtained through formal channels, and the quantity was huge. The male owner bought and sold the stolen goods. Later, the male owner gradually started to have evil thoughts. During another transaction, the male owner reported the brothers, which resulted in the brothers being arrested and the goods confiscated. Later, one of the brothers was shot and the other was imprisoned. The confiscated goods were purchased by the male owner at a low price and sold at a high price. Of course, the local officials had already taken care of them. Many years later, one of the brothers who was imprisoned came back for revenge. He found an old local friend, tricked the couple into murdering them, and then killed the old friend. In the end, the case involved too many government officials who had collaborated to sell the stolen goods, and even officials from prefecture-level cities. The superiors ordered the case to end here, so it was left unsolved and the couple could only be sacrificed to die unjustly. This is a real thing that happened to me.
