This book is one of the "Lv Xin's Works Series" and consists of four novellas, namely "Old Southern Dream", "Moss I Understand", "Conspiracy" and "Wangjiayu". He creatively uses avant-garde techniques to reproduce the vast landscape of rural northern China. Although the characters in his novels have different personalities, the psychological portrayal, detailed description, and in-depth exploration of the characters' psychology are the same. For example, Liu Wenzhi in "Old Southern Dreams", Wang Laowu in "Moss I Understand", and Pi Wanchun and Li Chengying in "Conspiracy". Behind the twists and turns of the stories, they bring people more thoughts about that era and the current situation of rural people in that era.
