Ge Fang's latest work "White City" reveals in detail the current human thoughts about the distant place and the current dilemma of reality. The novel is full of strange reverberations of Chinese tradition and Western temperament. The novel collection consists of 10 short and medium-length stories. The novels have different characters with different backgrounds, but they all revolve around foreign cities: this is what "Disappearing in Spain" is like. When Idin and her young boyfriend traveled to Spain, they never expected that the story would turn out like this. The boyfriend obviously did not realize that his nature would be so unbearable and bizarrely exposed in such a strange environment, and Idin did not expect that she would make the decision to "disappear in Spain". In "Phantom", a young female SPA technician from the countryside frequently travels to Paris when facing her clients, thinking of the many art masters there, especially Modigliani, his paintings, and his wife.
