About This Novel
"Sisyphus on the Roadside" is a collection of short stories and short stories by Yunnan writer Bao Zhuo. It includes six latest works, including "The Scattering of Birds and Beasts", "Old as a Youth", "Guanyin Meeting", "Lion Rock", "Sisyphus on the Roadside" and "Folk Prescriptions". Among them, "Sisyphus on the Roadside" tells the story of various adventures experienced by "I", a young car repairman beside the highway. Behind all the disorderly things, there seems to be a vast, mysterious but inescapable cage. The so-called "Sisyphus on the roadside" is because "I" and Sisyphus are both punished people. The difference is that Sisyphus pushed a stone and "I" pushed a scrap tire, which expresses the absurdity and inescapability of fate.
