About This Novel
Yi Shu is the person who knows how to tell love stories best in the Chinese-speaking world. Her view of love, at first glance, seems to be about love first, hedonism, and playing life. Once love disappears, the old love will be like a dream and a new love can be found. She is not obsessed with the past and only pursues the present. In fact, in her view, society is essentially man-centered. Everyone is selfish and works for profit. There is no real love at all. No one can be trusted and she can only rely on herself. The characters she writes are mostly white-collar women, smart and self-reliant, able to overcome everything, but never give up their efforts, and know their choices based on reality and reason. Between choices, although it is painful, it does not overflow. This set includes a total of fourteen works including "The First Half of My Life", "Xibao", "The Story of Roses", "Golden Years", "Picking Up Flowers in the Morning and Evening", "The Bridge of Sighs", "Longing in My Heart", "Comforting Loneliness", "Across the World", "Lucky Star", "The Long and Circuitous Road", "Spiritual Heart", "The King" and "Heartfelt Laughter".

Juansheng was an only son, and Zijun also wanted to have a boy to carry on his family line, so Zijun was partial. For Ping'er, maybe she was wrong. An'er's appearance did not bring much happiness to this marriage.
Unknowingly, An'er has grown into a big girl. Zijun must have noticed it too. An'er's girly thoughts have obviously increased, and she spends more time in a daze. She is also very concerned about her figure.
Zijun also has his own frustrations. He knows that being a wife is not easy. Juansheng wants to be stupid, so Zijun can only pretend to be stupid, otherwise how will he live his life?
