About This Novel
This book consists of three short stories and short stories, "A Stage Full of Girls", "I Existed" and "Burning". The author uses real people and events around him as creative materials to tell the life story of a group of women of different ages and destinies who refuse to be restrained, arranged, and objectified, and break through and transform. These women are loyal to their inner desires, regardless of sacrifice, and live passionately and truly. They have also been confused and hesitant, and they will carefully assess the situation. Misfortune and prejudice gave rise to sharp confrontations, but they never lost their tenderness. They give themselves generously for love, but refuse to sacrifice themselves. They are just like what Beauvoir said in his later memoir "The Reckoning is Complete", what women pursue is not to become a woman, but to become a complete human being.
