Typhoon Day
by Lu Yinyin
About This Novel
The nine novels all tell the lives of ordinary people, but maybe the characters are not important. The protagonist is actually life itself, which is invisible and indifferent, like a typhoon blowing by. The small characters are like debris swept away by the wind, but they have invested so much emotion in life and believe that this life belongs to them, even if all their wishes have been blown away by the wind.

This book made me feel the plainness of life and a touch of sadness. The author shows us one ordinary story after another. The beginning of a relationship is always beautiful, but as time goes by, life may become less thrilling. Just like all things in nature, flowers will wither one day, the sun will always set, and relationships will become dull in the end. Why is the beginning of love so shocking? I'm getting to know someone I don't know well, and perhaps I accidentally discovered the person's cute side, the mature side, the childish side, and discovered the person's excellent qualities. But at the same time, we will discover the shortcomings of this person, some points that we cannot accept, and sometimes we need to tolerate, understand, adapt, and break our illusions about this person. Slowly, this person became a part of our lives, and life returned to normal.
There is a feeling of moisture in the text
Suitable for one person to read quietly. There is always a touch of sadness in the stories, like the humidity after heavy rain during a typhoon. Many times, you can read the feeling of resonance. This kind of humidity is also something that must be experienced when growing up.
This book is really close to reality. Including myself, I will have some of the same experiences as in the book, recalling what I have experienced or lost.
The protagonist's life is very ordinary, but it makes people see how difficult it is for an ordinary person to live. She made many choices, such as entering a music school. Perhaps an outsider might think her choice was wrong. However, when I really saw it, I felt that maybe she wouldn't regret it?
The novel is written from the first-person perspective. When I saw "I" say that my parents are cousins, I really didn't know how to evaluate the relationship between these two people. They really love each other, but it's a pity that they were born in the wrong era!
When I saw this name, I was still confused as to why a novel should be named after Typhoon Day. When you click on the content, you will find that the first half of the heroine's life is like a small tree in a typhoon, swaying and not knowing when it will fall.
